MUSEUM EXHIBITS include
a
magnificent steam winding engine, now electrically driven.
A
simulated coal mine shaft for you to experience underground working conditions
in the early days of coal
mining.

fascinating display of mining tools and equipment.
The
museum also houses a unique a local gas tram from the 1920’s, now restored to
it's former original condition.
GREAT SOUVENIR & GIFT SHOP
has one of the best selections of genuine
and reproduction miner's lamps in South
Wales, as well as a selection of books on
the coal industry.
The shop is open throughout the Museum
opening hours and can be visited separately
